Hi, I'm Alejandro. I translate from Spanish into English and from English into Spanish.

Iv'e worked in the translation industry for over ten years. I can handle any text in general. Also, I specialize in the Humanities. Social Sciences, and Law. I usually translate, proofread, and edit academic texts, such as theses or dissertations, articles, papers, and so forth.

I'm passionate about cultures. I have lived in Spain and the US. I have a PhD in Translation and am ATA-Certified.

Where I live

I live where people come for vacation. I love it here, despite the financial crisis, people are always hard-working and in a good mood. Puerto Rico is officially bilingual, and therefore, an ideal translation hub for the Caribbean and Latin America, as well as the United States. There is a lot of translation activity all the time, plus we have a strong Translation program at the University of Puerto Rico training translators for over 40 years now.

And on top of that, we have the best beaches in the world!
