Hi,

I'm a full-time professional and highly qualified translator who has been working freelance for over 30 years.
I am a graduate from Cambridge University and have additional postgrad qualifications in translation.

I have also lived in Germany and Denmark for a total of 17 years but moved back to the UK in 2000 and now live happily in London.
I am fluent in German, Danish and several other languages but only translate into my native tongue, English.

I have many specialisms but take on assignments in most areas within my core languages.

I also have a range of healthy and not so healthy interests and am addicted to learning languages and to travelling.

Where I live

I live in the heart of the East End of London. It may be expensive and it may be trendy, but it is definitely not posh. Some parts are even quite rough, but the mix of ethnic and national groups means it is never dull. And there is always somewhere new and interesting to grab a drink or go out to eat.
I also live within striking distance of the City, the square mile, the financial hub of the UK, some way the world.
