Hello!

I've worked as a freelance translator for 20 years. Before that I was an English teacher at a private course, preparing students for the First Certificate and the Certificate of Proficiency of the University of Cambridge.

I live in a house with a big garden and I love plants and animals.
I have six dogs and one cat.

In my spare time I like to read and watch British films.

I hope to work for you. My rates are reasonable and I always deliver the work on time.

Where I live

I live in Petropolis, a town distant about 50km from Rio de Janeiro.

Petropolis is known as the "Imperial City", as Emperor Peter the Second lived here in the 19th. century. There are still many houses and buildings from that time, including the Imperial Museum, that has the Emperor's crown and many furnishings and garments from that era.

Another interesting site to visit is the Crystal Palace, entirely made of crystal, where royal balls used to be held. And last, but not least, the House of Santos Dumont, the alleged inventor of the airplane.

The climate in Petrópolis is mild, the best months to visit it are May and June.
