Salam alikum, I'm Abdelhakim.

I've been living in Canada for 7 years, and before that in Paris. My two native languages are Arabic and Berber but I'm also fluent in French and English.

My hobbies and interests cover different fields such as politics, sports and culture. Still, languages and translation, more specifically, is the activity I enjoy practicing and would love to practice for years to come.

I may be available the weekdays as well as weekends.

Where I live

I lived in Agadir, then Paris and now living in Montreal.

Agadir is a city along Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. It’s a resort area known for its golf courses, wide crescent beach and seaside promenade lined in cafes, restaurants and bars. Rebuilt after a devastating 1960 earthquake.

Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its picturesque 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral, the city is known for its cafe culture, and designer boutiques.

Montréal is the largest city in Québec. Predominantly French-speaking, it’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its 19 boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with imposing Notre-Dame Basilica at its center – to industrial Sud-Ouest and artist-friendly Plateau.
