Ola, I am Brígida from Lisbon

I am a freelance translator - english/french to portuguese and portuguese to english/french, I am a teacher - english and Handling assitance - and a I am a Ground Handler Agent providing services which are essential to passengers' safety and comfort, such as passenger check-in, baggage handling, special assistance and irregularities.

What do they have in common? The multicultural environment, the daily challenges, meeting new people, teaching and learning, there is always something new to defy our day, the moments of share.

Translation isn't just about conveying meaning from one language to another, it's a re-creation as per my perspective.
It is truly a bridge that connects people from around the world spreading knowledge and meeting other peolple and cultures.

Where I live

Lisbon is a city of contrasts, and you can experience both the historic and cosmopolitan parts of the city on a choice of two routes.

Its surroundings offer an incredible variety of tourist attractions, from fairytale palaces in one of Europe's most romantic towns (Sintra), to world-class golf and fun in Europe's largest casino in Estoril, to surfing in Cascais or escaping to a natural park in Arrábida, to dolphin-watching in Setúbal.

It is the city of the oceans, the only European capital with sunsets on the sea, so close to sandy beaches and with one of the world's largest state-of-the-art aquariums.

Lisbon has a charming visual time-warp with vintage trams and medieval village-like neighborhoods.

Also known for its lively but serene and melancholic places with an insatiable appetite for long dinners, coffee breaks and nightlife.
