Profile

Hi, I have been translating for the past 10 years. I have worked in the service industry and have a lot of background knowledge about various sectors including shipping, IT, marketing, cooperatives and I have also translated documents relating to the above and other sectors for a variety of clients. These include the EU, Microsoft, various companies in Malta and abroad.

I have also done subtitling and I can also do transcriptions.

I recently graduated in Interpreting from the University of Malta. My language combinations are EN>MT and MT>EN and I am currently brushing up on my Italian and studying German.

Where I live

I live in Malta which is a tiny island in the centre of the Mediterranean. Malta lies between Sicily and North Africa.
We are steeped in history and have a lot of colourful culture. The climate is mild with quite warm summers but cool winters. It doesn't rain a lot though.

Malta has some beautiful beaches, the sea is lovely and it is also renowned for its fantastic diving sites.

It is a must visit for a country which is very different from other European countries.

Malta joined the EU in 2004 and adopted the Euro in 2008. At the moment we have a Labour government.
