Profile Info
I started my professional life volunteering in The Syria Trust for Development in 2011 as a trainer in Social Programs project which refined my training, public speaking and presentations skills. Then I was able to move up to enter the committee of the project. This position allowed me to read more about volunteers life-cycle and developing proper mechanisms to merge voluntary resources in NGOs to utilize the most we can of the available human resources.
In 2013 I submitted a proposal for a Voluntary Resources Management Unit based on a study I have carried out about international experiences. The proposal was accepted and I held the position of its management and achieved a huge success with the team. But unfortunately we could not manage to keep going on the same track due to the escalation of the crisis in Syria (The VRM aimed to establish local centers to take over the management of local voluntary resources in corporation with the Ministry of Social Affairs, local and national NGOs). Due to that, I called the closure of the project and handed over my duties at the end of 2013.
However, I built on my previous experience to help developing the structure and roles of Syrian Researchers which I entered its Board earlier in 2013 in addition to managing HR and PR departments.
In Syrian Researchers I found another interest in Science and Research field, which allowed me to develop my medical knowledge in addition to build solid relations with local, national and international organizations working in this field.
Once in a while during my previous main duties, I have held temporary positions. I have worked as Administrative Officer and Relief Team Administrator in The Syrian trust for development, Hygiene Promoter in The Department of Ecumenical Relations and Development, Scientific Translator in Syrian Society for Scientific Research and some copy-writing and editorial positions in Syrian Researchers.
In short I believe more experiences mean more options.
