Vanakkam... I am Jacinta.

As I live in Tamil Nadu I am fluent in Tamil. I have done my bachelors degree in English while my Post-graduate and my doctorate degrees were in French.I have been to France and lived there for awhile during my research at the University of Provence, Aix, Southern France.

I am a retired college professor having taught at Stella Maris College, Chennai for 30 years. All through my career I have done translation from French to English and from Tamil to English mainly of short stories and novels, manuals and business correspondence of a general nature.

I look forward to translating your texts from French to English and I ensure accuracy and quality in my work.

Where I live

I was born and brought up in India at Chennai. Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It has a rich cultural heritage situated on the East Coast in South India. There is a unity in diversity in this region as people of different cultures and religions live here. It is the home of performing arts like Bharathnatyam (classical dance) and classical carnatic music. Besides following ancient traditions based on the Hindu culture , Chennai and suburban areas are the home of many industries both local and multinational including automobile and information technology. This city also abounds in educational institutions .A visit to Chennai will be a sure treat to the mind and heart.I shall be happy to satisfy all your needs of translation .
