Profile

I'm a professional translator and native Russian (Ukrainian) speaker and have strong skills and a great experience (10 years) in English-Russian (Ukrainian) translations and vice versa, especially in technical and legal specializations. I work with marketing and medical specializations too and also know French and Spanish at a high level.

My technical experience mainly concerns the power engineering (TPPs, NPPs, CCPPs, etc.) and oil & gas specializations.

Where I live

Kharkiv is the second largest city in Ukraine (after the capital of Ukraine - Kiev). It is one of the biggest industrial, scientiffic and educational centers not only Ukraine but in the Eastern Europe. In the middle of this city, the largest square in the Europe is located.
It is rather young because its history began only in the XVII-s when there was a tax-free territory (called in Ukrainian as "Slobozhanschina" that can be translated as "Territory of Freedom"). Why it was tax-free? Because this territory was so called a Wild Field - plain valley where the hazard of nomad invasion was continuous. It began from a fortress and now it is a large city with its own institutes, universities, interesting places for leisure and entertainment such as restaurants (with a wide diversity of cuisines), aquaparks, stadiums, theatres, circuses, up-to-date cinemas, etc. That can be a real proof that small taxes and freedom can promote to the city growth anywhere.
