My native language is Russian. I used to live and study in the USA, so I am fluent in English.

Where I live

I live in Tyumen, a first Russian city in West Siberia, Russia. It was founded in 1586 and has a long exciting history depicted in its museums and picture gallery.The history of Tyumen and its surroundings is connected with the Russian Imperial Romanov family, famous mystic Grigory Rasputin, communist revolutionist Lenin, etc.
Tyumen is known as an oil and gas center of Russia. A lot of oil and gas companies have their offices here.
Tyumen can boast its biathlon arena for summer and winter biathlon and skiing championships.
It has several geothermal springs with nice spa hotels nearby.
In winter you can enjoy its ice sculptures and beautiful Christmas lights and decorations.
In summer you can swim in its lakes and walk in the woods picking mushrooms and berries.
